Air France long-haul flights are being equipped with new cabins combining smart looks with technological innovations, and to date, 90% of the long-haul fleet has been fitted.


L’espace Affaires (Business Class)

  • Your own private area with 27% more personal space, fully independent of the seat in front of you.
  • The seat converts to lie flat within a shell-like structure, complete with integrated massage function and lumbar control, enabling you to lie down completely.
  • Bed measures up to 2m long, 61cm wide, and extends at an angle of 5° or 9°(according to fleet).
  • PC socket, 10.4 inch interactive video screen offering video on demand and a wide choice of recent film, documentaries and games.
  • Wine list selected by world-renowned sommelier Philippe Faure-Brac.

L’espace Première (First Class)

On board, you travel in a special cabin that has been completely redesigned:

  • No more than 8 seats, all set in staggered rows, to provide 50% more room.
  • The seat converts into a 2 metre flat-bed, complete with mattress, adjustable lumbar support, massage function and storage space.
  • Attention to detail: leather seat, soft duvet, hypoallergenic down pillow and pure Merino wool blanket.
  • Menus designed by Guy Martin, chef at the famous Grand Vefour restaurant.

World Business Class

In World Business Class we have raised comfort to a higher level; looking after our passengers physical and emotional well-being, enabling them to express their wishes and offering them freedom of choice. A place to relax, to unwind with music or a movie, and perfect lighting for a pleasurable read. The ideal ambiance to enjoy a meal. Fitted to provide an efficient workplace, surrounded by comfort to sleep.

Take the World business class seat, its cosy armchair with lumber support and massage function. It's a home entertainment centre with a personal video screen and active noise reduction headset. It's a desk with a telephone, a reading light and a power outlet for a laptop. It's a 74inches long bed with a 170 degree recline and a privacy canopy for optimum sleeping comfort.

Fine fresh food keeps our passengers fit, with a gourmet three course meal, designed in collaboration with Les Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe. KLM's fine selection of wine is the choice of award wining connoisseur Hubrecht Duijker.
