About ANA – All Nippon Airways

ANA (All Nippon Airways) is Japan's largest airline which has been awarded a 5-star rating from Skytrax for seven consecutive years. ANA was named ‘Business Airline of the Year’ at the Business Travel Awards 2020 and 2018. Operating eight daily flights from Europe (London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Brussels and Vienna) to Tokyo, ANA connects passengers with Japan’s largest domestic network and 46 international cities beyond. ANA’s European network is expanding with new flights to Istanbul, Milan, Moscow and Stockholm from Tokyo Haneda, launching in summer 2020.

ANA has recently collaborated with famed architect Kengo Kuma and leading British designers Acumen to roll out 12 completely redesigned Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The new aircraft started its operation between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda in August 2019, offering the latest technology, unique design principles and first-rate comfort to all guests. It has been introduced to the New York-Haneda route and will be launched between Frankfurt and Haneda from February 2020.

ANA has been a core member of Star Alliance since 1999 and has joint-ventures with United Airlines on trans-Pacific and Asia routes, and with Lufthansa and Swiss International Airlines on Japan-Europe routes.

There are various ways to check in for your flight with All Nippon Airways (ANA):

Online – Online check in is available from 24 hours and up to 75 minutes before departure.

When flying with All Nippon Airways (ANA), each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag, weighing up to 10kg. The bag dimensions (length, width, height) must be no more than 115cm, with the length of each side not exceeding 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (22 x 16 x 10 in).

  • First Class – 3 bags with a maximum of 32kg each

Frequent Flyer Points: ANA Mileage Club

The ANA Mileage Club gives members the chance to earn frequent flyer points on domestic flights, international flights, and when travelling on any airline within the Star Alliance partnership. Points can be redeemed towards flights, hotels and upgrades - as well as a whole host of extras, such as Amazon vouchers or airport transfers.

New Economy Class

With a 3-4-3 seat configuration, seat pitch of 24 inches, width of 17.3 inches, six-way adjustable headrest and a leg and foot rest, the ANA new Economy Class is all about comfort. Entertainment-wise, passengers can make use of a 13.3-inch touch-screen TV, as well as a universal power socket and USB port.

The new Economy Class operates between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda, and its upholstery has been redesigned with Japanese patterns which represent the in-flight experience, from departure to landing. Traditional prints include tatami mat pattern which represents a Japanese welcome, and an arrow design taken from the Yagasuri pattern to suggest movement and direction. These non-repeating patterns mean each seat cover, across the Economy seats will be completely unique.

Standard Economy Class

For aircraft operating between continental Europe and Tokyo, ANA’s Economy standard seat has an increased seat pitch of 34 inches and is also equipped with a sliding headrest and a three-step shifting footrest for ultimate comfort.

Entertainment: Enjoy innumerable entertainment options, with hundreds of on-demand movies, videos, music and games. An in-seat USB port also means passengers can make the most of their own movies, music and photos throughout the flight.

Food and beverage: There is a wide selection of meals to meet specific dietary requirements, plus meals and services are provided for children and babies.
