Public Transport
Cairns Aiport is currently not serviced by public transport, however there are shuttle buses operated by The Sun Palm Transport Group that run from the airport to a range of hotels, beaches and Cairns city centre.
Car Hire
Car hire desks are located in the northern end of the domestic terminal and in the arrivals hall of the international terminal. Companies include Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, Redspot and Thrifty. Talk to your consultant about booking car hire in advance.
Check-in
Check-in zones are located just after the entrance of the Departures Level in both the Domestic and International Terminals.
Money Exchange
International Currency Exchange (ICE) stations and cash machines can be found near gate 3 in the International Terminal and opposite gate 2 in the Domestic Terminal.
Business Services
Business facilities can be found within the Qantas Club Lounge (access conditions apply)
Internet Access
Wi-Fi and internet kiosks are available across the Domestic and International Terminals. An hourly fee applies.

Airline Lounges
Qantas - Qantas has a Club Lounge located at Cairn's International Terminal next to Gate 16. Qantas First and Business class passengers as well as various Qantas Club, Platinum, Gold and eligible oneworld members are privy to access the Qantas Club lounge. Lounge features vary between the terminals, and may include showers, Wi-Fi, Apple computers, lounge dining, bar service and barista brewed coffee.
Terminal Transfers
Cairns Airport has two terminals which are connected by a covered walkway. Walking between the Domestic and International Terminals takes approximately 5 minutes.
