Days 1-5
Seattle
Take your time to explore the coastal hub of Seattle, a dazzling jewel of the Pacific Northwest, fringed by verdant national forests and the island archipelago of picture-perfect Puget Sound.
In town, join your included city tour to take in all of the sights. Seattle’s iconic Space Needle soars over the city at an impressive 184m and boasting impressive views of the metropolis and beyond, it’s the perfect place to start your tour of the city. From here head to ‘the soul of Seattle’, Pike Place Market. Founded in 1907, it’s home to the oldest Starbucks and the famous flying-fish ritual – a must-see when in town! Coffee connoisseurs should indulge in a caffeine hit from one of the many artisan coffee vendors, while foodies will love Jack’s Fish Spot for some local catch.
And that's not all. Washington state also has the most extensive ferry operation in the USA. Don't miss a short ferry ride to Winslow, a small, charming town, packed with eclectic boutiques, art galleries, wine-tasting opportunities and scenic vistas. The 30-minute return ferry to Seattle will enable you to capture that postcard-perfect shot of the city's incredible skyline.
