Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Airport (BNE) is located 8 miles north of the city and is serviced by trains, public buses, private shuttle buses, taxis and car hire. The airport is made up of two terminals, a domestic and international, which are located almost 1.8 miles apart with shuttle buses and trains available for transfers.

British passport holders will need a visa in order to enter Australia. There are two kinds of visas available: an eVisitor visa, for which there is no charge, and an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) from your travel agent or airline, for which there’s a service fee of A$20. eVisitor visas are available from the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection or from the Australian High Commission in London. For travel on non-British passports or for more information, please ask your consultant.
You'll notice when you first arrive in Brisbane that the city is heavily focussed on the outdoors. Brisbane boasts sunny weather in winter and very warm days in summer. As such, outdoor picnics, sporting games and swimming comes naturally to the locals here. While in town, watch a game of rugby league or cricket, or take a dip at South Bank's man-made beach that overlooks the city.

Out of the city, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast are great places to enjoy a day-trip from Brisbane. For beach fun and thrills, the Gold Coast also boasts a range of theme parks including Dreamworld, Warner Bros. Movie World and Sea World.
