Fly to Adelaide and explore this enchanting city and its stylish architecture. We also love its excellent food and fine wines; you could explore the markets and sample all manner of snacks, from cheese to cakes, wine and coffee. There are plenty of places to enjoy the year-round sunshine too, including acres of green parkland and beautiful, expansive sandy beaches. Hop on a train to Glenelg, the seaside suburb where you can wander the galleries and museums, or even try a spot of dolphin watching. On your final day, pick up your hire car, ready to hit the Barossa Valley.

Day 7
Barossa Valley
Drive from Adelaide to the iconic Barossa Valley wine region, with the renowned wineries here producing more than half of all Australian wine. Enjoy a Delicious 2 course Barossa lunch at Lambert Estate on your Barossa Food and Wine Tour, with a wine and chocolate tasting to take in the crisp Semillons and full-bodied Shiraz. Visit the Whispering Wall, a curved 36m-high wall that’s part of the Barossa Reservoir; you can quite literally whisper into it, and your words will be carried to someone else 140m away.

Day 8
Adelaide Hills
Head to Adelaide Hills, a picturesque countryside escape full of scenic hiking trails, wildlife encounters and home to some of South Australia’s best produce. If you’re not all wined out, it’s also home to a number of wineries, predominantly renowned for their Chardonnay. Don’t miss the beautiful Mount Lofty Botanic Garden which spans 270 acres and is full of blooming native flora, a sight to behold whatever the season.

Robe
Drive further south to Robe, a tranquil fishing port perched along the pretty Limestone Coast. Spend your time wandering the quaint historical buildings, and take in the lakes, fishing fleets and what seems like endless deep blue ocean.
