International holiday recommendations:

Australia:

As a company born and bred Down Under, it's no wonder we love to visit the land of Oz – particularly as the weather is in complete contrast to ours here in the UK. Swap grey, cloudy skies for sunny climes, blissfully peaceful beaches and extraordinary wildlife. And, best of all, we just love that laid-back Aussie way of life.

Best months to travel: December to February to escape the British winter.

New Zealand:

New Zealand is the place for you if you're looking for a place to really get away from it all – one that's literally really, really far away from it all. Sip delicious Kiwi wines, stroll world-famous tramping routes, embark on bungy and glacier-based adventures, and learn all there is to know about Lord of the Rings.

Best months to travel: October to March for the southern hemipshere spring/summer.

USA:

The USA offers a different kind of cultural experience. American cities like New York and San Francisco are cultural giants where you can experience world-class museums, diverse cuisines, and vibrant nightlife. And, of course, you'll recognise plenty of Hollywood scenes!

Best months to travel: May to June for the North, March to May & September to November for the South

Asia:

Whether it's trying new foods in Thailand, lazing on the beautiful beaches of Bali or exploring some of Asia's most impressive cities like Singapore or Hong Kong, you are in for a treat. Friendly people, delicious cuisine, rolling landscapes, and stunning beaches await you.

Best months to travel: The best time to explore Asia varies by region (Southeast Asia: November to February; East Asia: March to May and September to November; South Asia: October to March; Central Asia: April to June and September to October)

South Africa:

Very few locations combine history, culture, and a thriving nightlight and restaurant scene quite like South Africa – specifically its oceanfront city of Cape Town. Summit Table Mountain, with its engimatic table cloth, enjoy food and drink on the V&A Waterfront, spot penguins on Boulders Beach, and learn all about the infamous history of Robben Island.

Best months to travel: May to September for safari, July to November for whale watching, and November to March for chilled-out sunny days in Cape Town.

The world is your oyster, and with that comes an array of captivating destinations from which to choose. No matter where you decide to venture next, a Flight Centre Travel Expert will help you plan the ultimate holiday.
