Tours to New Zealand

New Zealand

A hotspot for nature lovers, adrenaline junkies, wilderness explorers and hobbits alike - it’s no surprise that our New Zealand tour packages continue to be super popular for travellers from across the globe. Whether you’re after a city break, cultural experience or chance to step into a fantasy world on the Hobbiton movie set, we’ve got the tour for you.

First things first, snap a selfie with the iconic Sky Tower and soak up harbour views with Auckland city tours. Wellington cultural visits allow you to explore Te Papa national museum and enjoy the creative capital, while botanical enthusiasts can’t miss the chance to wander through the tranquil Christchurch gardens.

On the flip side, spike your adrenaline and try bungee jumping, jet boating and skydiving amongst alpine scenery with Queenstown adventure sports. Clip on some crampons and trek through the ice caves, crevasses and stunning landscapes of Westland Tai Poutini National Park with Franz Josef glacier hiking. Then, head underground and experience magic as you glide through the enchanting Waitomo glowworm caves.

Change up your perspective and see New Zealand from the water with Bay of Islands sailing in the North Island. Those on the South Island won’t miss out, either, as Milford Sound cruises allow you to marvel at cascading waterfalls, and abundant wildlife in Fiordland National Park.

When all is said and done, there is no better way to relax than amongst the bubbling mud pools of Rotorua’s geothermal springs. Unwinding while learning about the rich Maori culture? Sounds pretty ideal to us.

The best time to visit New Zealand depends on what you want to do. If you’re keen to hit the slopes of Queenstown and experience a Kiwi winter, then visit between June and August. Otherwise, head over between December and May to soak up the sunshine.

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear are recommended. Think warm coats and ski gear for winter, decent walking shoes for any treks or day hikes, swimmers ready for a summer dip and a good hat to keep you covered from the Kiwi sun.

Tours typically range from one week to two weeks, giving you plenty of time to go on an adventure to Hobbiton, spike your adrenaline in Queenstown, see the breathtaking scenery of Milford Sound and road trip through some super cute Kiwi towns. Got more time up your sleeve? Chat with our travel experts about extending your trip or even tacking on another tour.

Travel insurance is generally not included in the tour package itself. With that in mind, it’s a pretty important part of your holiday, so chat with our travel experts about including it as part of your booking total.
