Tours to Oceania

Oceania

Spanning 14 countries and a whole lotta water, Oceania is a hotspot for travellers seeking sunshine, relaxation and a chance to embrace the art of ‘island time’. If you’re not sure where to start, or would like someone to do the hard work for you, look no further than Flight Centre’s range of sun-soaked Oceania tour packages and experiences.

The biggest island nation in the region is, of course, Australia. This true blue landscape offers a wide range of experiences to suit the palette of every traveller. Explore the iconic landmarks of the capital with Sydney Opera House tours, soaking in stunning harbour views while you’re there. Head west into the Aussie outback, or go north to visit Nemo with Great Barrier Reef diving.

Nature lovers can’t go past the chance to visit the Land of the Long White Cloud, where majestic landscapes and stunning natural wonders wait at every turn. Don’t forget to visit iconic filming locations and join a New Zealand Lord of the Rings tour while you’re there!

Prefer the idea of a tropical island escape? Say Bula to relaxing on pristine beaches with Fiji island getaways, hit snooze in overwater bungalows at a Bora Bora luxury resort, or explore the golden sands and lush rainforests that come with Samoa beach vacations.

Those keen to experience rich traditions and ancient customs in a Melanesian archipelago can’t go past Vanuatu cultural experiences. While anyone looking for a challenge can hike through rugged landscapes and explore remote villages with Papua New Guinea trekking.

Last, but certainly not least, marine enthusiasts cannot miss the chance to get up close and personal with the majestic gentle giants of the sea on a Tonga whale watching tour. Whether you seek cultural immersion, natural wonders, adventure, or relaxation, we’re almost certain there is an Oceania tour package for you.

The best time to visit Oceania is from October to April when you can enjoy pleasant weather and plenty of outdoor activities. Keep in mind that it is a big region, so if you’re travelling for something specific like skiing in New Zealand, swimming with whale sharks in Tonga or exploring the Australian outback, you may want to do a little more research on the best travel dates.

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear are recommended. Bring swimwear for beach destinations, decent walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and camera ready to snap those holiday pics.

Tours range from a few days to two weeks, depending on the itinerary and what you’re hoping to experience. Oceania is a massive region, so it’s safe to say you won’t be conquering it all in one. We recommend chatting with one of our travel experts to figure out the best Oceania tour package to suit your travel needs and wants.

Travel insurance is generally not included in the tour package itself. With that in mind, it’s a pretty important part of your holiday, so chat with our travel experts about including it as part of your booking total.
